Baptism Follow-up Too often when a child is baptized, the event is recorded in the church's records, and that is it. At Historic Trinity when a child is baptized, we embroider the child's name on a small cloth lamb and place the lamb on a baptism banner. The family then receives religious information each month for the nurturing of the child. When the child turns 3 years old, the lamb is removed from the banner and forwarded to the parents, inviting them to bring the child to Historic Trinity Lutheran Church Sunday School.
