The stone carvings of Historic Trinity were furnished by the Batchelder-Wassmund Company of Detroit. The carving artist was Peter Bernasconi of Detroit. Most of the work was done on site.
The carved figures were chosen from the Bible and from church history. They are so scaled and placed as not to mar the harmony of the whole structure, not to interfere with the worshipers's concentration on the word and sacraments.
