Lutheran High Schools Legacy

The Historic Trinity “Continuing The Legacy” presents a special afternoon choral performance and sports shared memories honoring our Lutheran High Schools in the Metro Detroit area on Sunday, April 29, at 3:00 p.m.

Choir

Former choir directors and former choir members of the Metro Detroit Lutheran High Schools are invited to get together in the Cathedral to perform “The Messiah, Part III” that will include singing:

• “I Know That My Redeemer Lives”
• “Worthy Is The Lamb”
• “Amen”
• “Hallelujah Chorus”, etc.

under the direction of Karl Osterland. The presentation will be about 30 minutes. Rehearsals will be held on - Saturdays April 21 and April 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Historic Trinity.

Sports

Following the Choral presentations, former coaches and former athletes of the Metro Detroit Lutheran High Schools are invited to get together, in the auditorium, and share sport memories.

Reception

Refreshments will be served by the caterer of Historic Trinity at various food stations in the auditorium. There is no cost, but a “free will offering”will be appreciated.
