LUTHERAN RED AND BLUE SUNDAY

The Historic Trinity Cathedral Ministry Red & Blue Line held special Worship Services on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at all three services. All active and retired Lutheran law enforcement officers and agents, fire fighters, homeland security persons, and EMS persons were invited to participate in a special litany in each service. The 2011 Red & Blue Line Award was presented to Lt. David Rottermond, retired Michigan State Police, in the 9:30a.m. Worship Service. A St. Michael’s medal was presented to each law enforcement person present. A St. Florian medal was presented to each firefighter and emergency responders present.
