REFORMATION SERVICES A Special Downtown Lutheran Reformation Service A Special Downtown Reformation Service will be Sunday, October 31, 2010. We are pleased to have The Dr. Reed Lessing, Professor at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, who will preach in the 8:15, 9:30 & 11:00 services. There will be special music by the Historic Trinity Cathedral Choir and the Sunday School children. The Church’s caterer presents a reception following each of the Worship Services. Participate in this special opportunity for worship at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church, the Mother Church of Detroit Lutheranism. See the Reformation items at Historic Trinity; the Luther Tower, the copy of Dr. Martin Luther’s handwriting, the murals on the Reformation, the book on Luther’s Works from the 1700's, and the 1662 Nuernberg Bible - the 2nd translation of Luther’s Bible in the German language.
