Lenten Services- Mid-day Lenten services will be held each Wednesday at 12:00pm throught Lent. Join us for a free-will offering catered lunch following the service.
Good Friday– The Tre-Ore services- come to one. Come to all. 12pm. 12:45pm. 1:30pm. The Tennebrae Service is at 7pm. April 2, 2021.
Easter Sunday is celebrated like no other here at Historic Trinity. Sunrise Service with Communion is 7:30am. Festival Communion Services at 9:00am and 11:00am.
Question and Answer (Q & A) Tours of the Cathedral are given periodically.
Freedom Fest usually takes place in June, but for 2021 will take place on September 19th. Join us for worship as we thank God for all of our freedoms. This year, as in years past, the Saint Andrew’s Bagpipe Band will join us in in making our celebration extra special.
Hummelfest- September 29, 2021 Join us as we cut the ribbon and open Hummel Hall, featuring the collection of Jim Stokes and Fred Hoffman. There will be live music, food and Lutheran beverages! Lutherfest- October 1, 2021 All Historic Trinity members and friends are invited to this FUN(D) filled fellowship event. Festivities will be held under a large tent in the southwest parking lot. We offer a strolling supper, Lutheran beverages and a German band for your entertainment. We also have Luck of the Draw and Silent Auction items available. All proceeds will go to community outreach programs sponsored by Historic Trinity Incorporated (HTI), a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. Reservations are required. Tickets are $50.00 per person. Christmas Tours are weekdays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm – or other times by special appointment from November 16th thru December 23rd. Admission is free. Group tours and Christmas Carol sing-a-longs can be arranged. Phone the church to make arrangements for group tours.

Thanksgiving Service is held at 7:00 pm on Thanksgiving Eve
Christmas at Historic Trinity. Gain an insight on the many glorious and fun-filled events at Historic Trinity during Advent and Christmas. Come and view our beautiful Christmas decorations: 260+ Creches from around the world, 90+ Nutcrackers on display in the Dau Library, a multitude of Angels and many beautifully decorated Christmas trees. In our Sanctuary you will find our oldest and largest hand painted Nativity. This Nativity has adorned our Sanctuary since the late 1800’s. You also won’t be able to miss our 22 foot Christmas tree alit with 18,185 Christmas lights! This year, we add to our displays a 13 piece life-sized Nativity on the stage of the Huegli Auditorium. ‘O Come, All Ye Faithful’!
Downtown Lutheran Advent Services will be held on Wednesdays during Advent. This year we will have service at 12:00 noon and 6:30 P.M. Join us as we prepare our hearts for the joyous celebration of our Savior’s birth!
The Christmas Open House & Market has been cancelled this year. The Lutheran Choralaires Concert has been cancelled this year. Please join the Lutheran Choralaires as they celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in song! The German Language Christmas Service has been cancelled this year. Pfarrer Dr. Detlev Schulz will lead the German Language worship service and the GBU Saxonia-Rheingold Gemischter Chor will lift their voices in praise to our newborn King! Please join us as we continue to remember and honor our German heritage and founding fathers as we celebrate the birth of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Four Christmas Eve Services are held on December 24th. At 5:00 pm – Family/Children’s Service; at 7:00 pm, 9:00 pm & 11:00 pm – Festival Services with Communion and the Historic Trinity Cathedral Choir accompanied by a brass ensemble.
Christmas Day worship is December 25th at 10:00 am with Communion.
New Year’s Eve Festival Communion Service is at 7:00 p.m. on December 31st. This is one of the most popular services of the entire year. End the Year at this beautiful worship service.
