Dear People of God, these are most unusual times. As a pastor, I am tearful, heartbroken and torn over the deep struggle in the glorious charge to “love thy neighbor”. A shepherd wants to not only feed his flock, but protect them. Born out of a deep love, it is my sacred joy to serve you and nourish you as we sit down together at His table and around His Word. Together. For 27 years, I’ve never missed a Sunday… and you will never know what an honor it has been to set His Table for you. But I am also called by the Lord to protect you. Your soul… and your body. We are prayerfully considering every available option to tend to your spiritual being while guarding your physical well-being… and it seems like these measures change by the hour. Your prayers are most joyfully… well… necessary, as we consider what the next few months will look like.
MONDAY – THURSDAY 10am- 3pm:
If you would like to visit the church for one-on-one pastoral care, prayer, an encouraging word, or would just like time alone in our beautiful cathedral, please let us know. Additionally, if you would like to receive the Lord’s Supper, we will make it available to you on a one-on-one basis (or with your family) with prepackaged elements (bread/wine). All during the above times.
We will do this together. This may look different for while… but the Lord never changes, and this is still the day He has made. Rejoice. Be glad. ~Pastor Andrzejewski
